Get ready for a flavour-packed walk through one of Joburg’s most vibrant neighbourhoods!
We kick things off at Shalimar Delights, one of the biggest hubs for traditional Indian sweet meats (think delicious fudge-like treats!).
From there, we wander through the colourful streets of Fordsburg, soaking up culture and history.
First stop: Lilian Road Studios to admire an incredible mosaic by artist Hannelie Coetzee. 
Then it’s off to Archie’s, a quirky dive bar known for cold beers and iconic polony sandwiches.
Fordsburg is Jozi’s food capital, and along the way we unpack how food merchants helped shape life on the Witwatersrand.
We stroll past the legendary Oriental Plaza – but do you know its connection to forced removals?

And then… the FEAST begins. 
Around the market square, cultures collide in the best possible way.
